Help! Smirfs have taken over some of my HD channels.

Without a picture I wouldn't believe myself. But about a week ago Some of my HD channels have been taken over by Smirfs. Irony is that my kids don't know what Smirfs are. I have SageTV V4 with a Fusion HDTV 5 Gold. In Fusion software all channels are fine. No Smirfs. But in SageTV Channels 2 and 7 have been over run by Smirfs. KTVU-DT 56-2-1 480i and 100% signal strength. KGO-DT 24-7-1 480i and 100% signal strength. I have pleanty of other 480i channels that work fine in SageTV.
It's almost a negative effect, but the blacks and whites are still correct.

I saw that exact same thing one time when I was switched over to the Sage Mpeg Decoders. My Nvidia decoders were fine though.

Thanks for the help and correction. You are correct that it's the video decoder creating my smUrfs. I tried these; InterVideo NonCSS video decoder, InterVideo video decoder, SageTV MPEG video decoder and I got Smurfs. I try NVIDIA Video decoder and I get good video but it's herky jerky. (BTW, when I use the nVidia audio decoder I don't get any sound) I tried the NVIDIA video PostProcessor decoder and SageTV hangs.

Got any idea how to turn off the Smurf feature in the InterVideo video decoder? I guess I'll look for updates or perhaps reload the decoder. This probably happened after I updated the Fusion HDTV5 Gold drivers.

I thought I'd let you know. I switched from VMR9 to overlay and the colors corrected.
