HTPC Case that supports Microsoft Remote
Hi all,
I really like the MCE remote, I think it's great. I'm looking for a new HTPC case; quite a lot come with an integrated IR receiver and VFD. I'm guessing that with Girder it'll be relatively trivial to use my MCE remote with such an integrated IR receiver? Sound right? Thanks! |

actually if you get one of the nmedia cases they have a bracket inside which you can attach the innards of your mce remote blaster box to.

Take a look at these cases from OrigenAE. The built-in IR recievers are certified for both the MCE remotes and keyboards. It is just a receiver though, not a transmitter.
The X11 is on my short list for a Sage client PC I will be building soon. Origen is also coming out with low and mid profile versions of the X11 soon. Hopefully after the January CES. |

I got the X11. It is a great case, though you will likely have to assemble it more than once. It is really well designed, which means it isn't meant for easy access, so you have to put it together right or do them again
I haven't been able to get IRTrans working with Girder + Sage yet. Any of you had any luck? Girder doesn't list sage as a recognized application.
