HDTV sound issue is still active in 4.1
Has anyone actually heard when Sage/Frey is going to address this issue. Back in the beta I was told that the sound cut out problems on certain HD channels was a known issue and was being worked on.
Several days later they release version 4 and the problem was still apparent. Now version 4.1 has been release and its still there. This is getting really frustrating. The following channels are being impacted in my lineup: 20-1 CBLT (CBC Toronto) 40-3 CFTO (CTV Toronto) 43-3 WNED (BriteTV/PBS subchannel - Buffalo) 53-1 CITY (CityTV Toronto) So out of 11 HD/digital channels in my region 4 are basically without sound. The weird thing is that sage obviously can get sound for them as I get a short 10-15 second burst right when the channel is tuned in, then it goes away. Has anyone heard a definitive answer as to when this will get addressed? Thanks Adam |

Please contact tech support about this. We were not aware there were still any issues with receiving audio on DTV broadcasts.

Ageover,
Your problem sounds different that the one that Stealth and I experienced. I never heard any sound on my problem channels. I can confirm, that my HD sound problems are gone. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. In simple terms, Narflex, what was the problem? |

Yes my mine are gone too after a complete uninstall and fresh install of version 4.0.
