How Does MVP handle TS files
I think I know the answer but need to ask anyway. I would guess that any recorded HD would not playback on MVP (downrezed or otherwise). Does anyone know if any of the hardware manufacturers are working on extender boxes that support HD playback. I would love to eliminate as many PCs as I could in my system.

Correct. It will not play back at all. The MVP extender does not do any 'on the fly' conversion of unsupported material to make them playable.
Frey Tech has not commented on ANY timeframe for an HD based extender. I'm sure one will come, but who knows when. I play back all my HD recordings on my XBOX 360 and Buffalo LinkTheater devices now instead of having full clients. Of course no Sage interface though, which kind of stinks. But getting rid of two PCs was worth it. Jason
