Unstable Playback

I have another issue with playback ... LiveTV or Recorded ...

1. Start Playback
2. Either at Full Screen and Toggle to Window or
3. At Window and Toggle to Full Screen

Video goes black and audio continues ... Toggling back does not fix ...

It does not lock up Sage or the System.

The only way out is Toggle to Window and right click Sage in the Task Bar and Close. Or more easily keep punching the Stop button on the remote until you end up back to the Main Menu??

So ... Any Ideas??

You can't delete your own thread, so you didn't forget anything. But, are you sure you want to get rid of this... are those 2 issues really the same?

I thought so since kandieman101 said;

That's what happens to me, but I can force it to happen by toggling.

I saw another similar thread where you suggested Video driver and DirectX updates. I uninstalled and reinstalled my video drivers and reinstalled DirectX 9.0c and ran the DirectX diags. All tests passed. Restarted and same issue. But, now clicking Stop several times on the remote no longer takes me back to the Main Menu. Now I have to exit and relaunch???

Hmmm ... I am worried since I am seeing several comments about black video with audio issues ...
