Using Smooth FFW/REW made my playback flaky

So I tried Smooth FFW / REW and the following things happened:

1. It would only go up to +-4x. I could never get it to go faster. I am using the DVD Long Play compression with Intervideo (winDVD7) decoders.

2. Most importantly, ever since trying out Smooth FFW/REW my video now has stutter every 10 seconds or so. Ever so slight but it's driving me nuts. I have started Sage again. I have re-booted. Could there be some kind of "left-over" in the properties file that using this feature has left behind that is causing this. I'm hoping I don't have to do a complete re-install of Sage. Yuk.

Thanks,

Stacy

This is on the MVP correct? With 4.1.4?

I think that the stream type change may be causing it...

Core Updates

1. Changed default DTV recording type to be program stream. It can be changed back to transport stream with the property: mmc/encode_digital_tv_as_program_stream=false

No, this is on the main server not the MVP. Sorry I wasn't more clear on that.
