Confused with the equipment I need
Okay so I have almost everything setup, I have a sagetv 4.1 backend and ordered the sage media extender. I have dishnet and am going to order a usb-uirt, and would that be all I needed. Just hook that up, configure the sage backend with it and just use the media extender like I would if I didn't have a stb. Didn't know if anything needed any more configuring.

Are your E* STBs IR or RF? Some (most?) E* STBs have RF remotes ... UIRT won't help if that's the case.
What capture card(s) are you going to use? SVid is the best connection you'll be able to get on your E* boxes.
