Elecard Logo going nuts
I have kind of a strange thing going on here...
On anything I playback through SageTV, there is the Elecard logo (in the very upper right corner of the picture. This is no big deal. However, today the logo started freaking out. It dances around the picture at random (very quickly). Can I get rid of this? Do I need to uninstall the Elecard filters?? Anyone ever heard of this before?

I haven't seen this yet, but I've heard of it happening. You need to purchase the registered version of the Decoder to remove the logo. I believe you purchase their MPEG Player and the Decoder is included.

Really? I've never seen it move around before. Try the version I just uploaded to the beta ftp server at ftp://216.98.153.67/pub This is an older beta version that is OK to redistribute as mentioned in their license agreement for it. I've never had any problems with it.
(Excerpt from license agreement) - You may make and distribute unlimited copies of the Software, including copies for commercial distribution, as long as each copy that you make and distribute contains this Agreement and the same copyright and other proprietary notices pertaining to this Software that appear in the Software. If you download the Software from the Internet or similar on-line source, you must include the Moonlight Cordless copyright notice for the Software with any on-line distribution and on any media you distribute that includes the Software.

I uninstalled the v2 version I was using, then installed the Beta version and the logo is once again stable in the upper right corner. Thanks for the fix...
Very inventive of them... as much as it is annoying, I appreciate their effort to get you to pay for their software...
