Firefly Remote

I was thinking of maybe using my Firefly remote with my current SageTV setup but is it possible to use it with my Hauppauge MVP ? I know that my Firefly is a RF remote and that the MVP have an infrared port so i got to use my Hauppauge remote with it but i was asking myself (have to do this because my wife will not answer this question for me) that probably i can control my MVP via my SageTV server ?

Hope i am clear because i don't really understand it myself

So if anyone got an idea about that please let me know !
