Setting up Source - Buttons Missing???

I decided to go ahead and try out 4.1 tonight. So I completely uninstalled 4.0, and deleted all traces so I'm starting clean.

I install 4.1, enable the Service, etc. Then when I go into source setup, I configure it for Comcast Digital Extended Basic...it thinks for a while...then finally after a full minute it shows a channel lineup. But what do I do now??? It looks like I'm missing a "Complete Channel Setup" option.

FWIW, this is on my server. Windows 2003 Server. Athlon XP1800 on K7Sd pro motherboard. ATI 7200 video card

Help???

I had this problem intially with my installation of 4.1

I ended up reconfiguring my setup, and when I installed the server on another machine I didn't have the problem any longer.

I sent in a ticket and was asked for more info I think. You should report it to support aswell.

OK I got it to work finally. Basically, what I did was to ALT-F4 out of everything. Then I ran the service control app and disabled the service so that I was just running SageTV normally. Once I did that, everything worked correctly.

Once I got everything configured, I went back and re-enabled the service and now all seems to be OK.

Maybe there was some initial configuration/initialization that needed to occur before the service knew about my channel line-up.

Anyway, all looks good now.

On a clean install you don't want to enable the service before you configure Sage. If you were doing an upgrade to your installation that would be fine to do.
