DirectTV serial control on dtv only?
I have a coolsat5000 free to air box, I tried to use an usb-uirt with little luck it worked but not very well, probably my fault somewhere. I was going to try again when I remembered about the serial port it has. So I tried setting it up using the directtv serial control option when setting it up but it didn't work. Now before I go trying to figure out what I did wrong tell whether or not this can be done or is the software the problem.
