hauppauge blaster

Hi, I am using sage 4.latest and had the hauppauge blaster working just fine for months.
Recently I disabled the sage service and didnt use sage for about 2 weeks.

when I started everythign back up again, the IR blaster is not working. It is showing up when i do a "source setup" but not working.

When i run the haup IR blaster config it says no hardware found... even though the PVR150 is installed and is capapble of tuning channels. and yes, the blaster is connected to the PVR 150 properly.

what is usual suggestion in this case? a sage reinstall or a pvr 150 driver reinstall?

wow, not 1 reply on this eh?

I fiddled with it some, and saw that if I reinstalled the IR blaster driver, it would work... but only once and then if sage was brought up again, it would fail.

other wierd thing is that I see the blaster light up, even though it does not change channels on the receiver. it changes channels just fine until the "IR service" craps out and then it keeps lighting up but seems to not be sending proper codes.

again, repeated IR driver installs fixes it temporarily.

I saw the other thread about service mode and sure enough, when I disable service mode it (the blaster) changes channles fine.

this seems to be a new bug with the 4.1.36 version of sage
