Prevent recording a favorite on a specific channel

I have Dish network. Whenever the Actsys tells IRman to record on a channel I don't get, The sat. receiver locks up with a message that says you have to push the up or down cahnnel to get out of the lock up.

In channel setup I have cleared the channels I don't get. When I mark a show as a favorite SageTv will try to record that show on both the channels I do get and the channels I don't get, and it locks up.

If you don't have the channel marked with the green circle why does it try to record it.

I wish the guide would not show the channels that are not marked ok in the channel setup.

Is there a way to mark a show as a favorite but only record on the channel I want. If I mark the show on the unavailable channel as don't like, then will SageTv mark all instances of that show as don't like?

I've tried to be as clear as possible. This is a big problem as I sit down to watch a show and up comes a recroded error message.

BLS,

If a channel is not enabled in Channel Setup, then it should not be in the Guide and SageTV should not try to record the channel. Do you have multiple sources set up that Sage could be accessing the second source to record the channel?

Just a note, I had this happening recently (I removed a channel from my lineup but Sage was still using it for my recordings and IR recordings). I restarted sage completely and it cleaned up right away.

I have restarted a few times. I usually stop SageTv to Defrag.

The only other source I have setup is an Svhs input from a vcr.

I'll keep an eye out to see if the new version is doing this.

It shouldn't do this. If you see it in the new version, please let me know.
