Quick answer: yes.

Duplicate channels/networks will be merged in the guide listings. For some blurbs on it in the v4.1 PDF manual, see the bottom of p. 41 and the info on p. 144.

I have a similar setup and everything shows up in a combined guide like opus4 said. All my HDTV channels show up as seperate channels, probably because they have different channel names (ex. KCCIDT instead of KCCI). The recording logic recognizes that the analog and HDTV version of shows are the same and won't schedule both to record.

I too have a similar setup (1 HD, 2 analog with one of the analogs recording both analog cable and a few select digital channels via the composite input). I never had it record both the analog and digital versions of the same show until Monday of this week. It recorded both versions of the Golden Globe awards. Just a minor inconvenience.

What if one of the clients is an MVP, will it try to play the SD version of the HD version?

Gee I wish this inconveniene always happened. I want it to record both the HD and analog version so I don't always have to watch on my HD Set.
