IR blaster not working with Multiple Tuner cards

I have a Sage system that has both a PVR-250 and a PVR-150 tuner card in it. The problem is I can not get the IR blaster or IR receiver for the PVR-150 to work. The computer always seems to default to the IR sensor on the 250 card.

I tried removing both cards and installing just the 150 card. I then set up the IR blaster to control my cable box and set up sage to use it as a source and it worked fine. I then added the PVR-250 card and set that up as a second source. This setup worked fine until I rebooted for the first time. When the computer restarted, the IR sensor on the PVR-250 was active and teh sensor and IR blaster on teh PVR-150 no longer worked.

I also tried swapping the cards positions to see if it would make the 150 the default IR card but that didn't help either.

I',m wondering if there's any way to make this computer always use the IR receiver and IR blaster on the PVR-150 card rather than the PVR-250 card?

Thanks for any help,
Rob

This is a known issue with those cards. I don't think Hauppague has a solution yet.

See towards the end of this thread for possible work-arounds.
