Lightbulb Separate tuning spaces and overrides for each TV tuner

Is it possible (and is it even of interest to anyone but me) to have SageTV: setup, and then use, separate tuning spaces and overrides for each TV tuner?

I am not a programmer and am probably sounding stupid (so please excuse me for continuing), but if each tuner was configured to use a separate tuning space (set up for the same channels and country of course), and then each could have a separate override area in the TV system services. This would allow a user to fine tune an individual tuner without affecting the other tuners (which may not need the fine tuning).

I don't know if it is even possible to have simultaneous uses of separate tuning spaces, but it seems to me that it could be a way for SageTV to solve many of our SD tuner card issues. Not that it is their problem...it is ultimately ours (the user). But we would rave just that much more about SageTV if they did it!

Think of it...

You could fine tune one tuner of your PVR500 for channel #12 to correct your lack of sound without causing the second tuner on the card to loose its good reception for the same channel. You can take that example on to separate cards as well...

Just a pipe dream maybe, but boy what a good one.
