Very true. I only found them because I was in Atlanta and stopped in at Fry's. When I went into Radio Shack, I was greeted with looks of confusion and disbelief that such a creature existed. Radio Shack sure has changed.

I made the same mistake about thinking it was an RJ11 and was very confused about why it didn't fit until I looked closer. Then I tried to sand the connector down to make it fit (it was a frustrating day). Here's a hint: You can't! Even if the body fits, the locking tabs are too big. ARGH!!

I use 4 conductor handset cords (WallyWorld has em usually or Radio Shed) and a Cisco DB9 to RJ45 Console/terminal adapter. Works out of the box with my D10-100.
