HDTV Wonder crashes system
I bought a ATI HDTV WONDER to try out. I got it working except for some reason after about 10min or so it crashes my system. I have down loaded all the new drivers. I am using a ATI 9800 Radon card as well. When I run my 2 250 pvrs I have no issues. only when recording HD.
The CPU is running around 42% while I am watching HD live. I am still using Sage version 4.1 Tried to move to 4.6 but MVP would not work. I have tried cyberlink video driver as well as PureVideo same results with system crashing. Is this an issue with ATI Wonder. I was thinking of a diffrent card but this was the only one I could buy in the store and return it if I didnt like it. I would go with something else but it worries me that I cant get this working. If I have the same issue with a diffrent card I really hate to have to deal with there return policy.

I have an ATI HDTV Wonder and Two Avermedia A180's for tuning HighDef, and I don't get any crashes at all.
A couple of questions. 1: Are you using the PureVideo decoders for both Audio and Video? I use PureVideo for Video and Sonic for Audio, with no issues. 2: Are you running in VMR9 with FSE enabled? I have Overlay running here. Mike

I am using the purevideo decoder for video and Sonic Cinemaster. I am running Orverlay with FSE.
The card will record without issue even while watching another program. The problem seems to occur on play back. I will be watching the hd program after it was recorded and it will crash the system and restart itself. I have tried the Cyberlink decoders aswell. It is ramdom it doesnt stop in the same place. Any help would be great.

Try turning off FSE.
