Past scheduled shows losing title

Hi all,
I am using xmltv (using tvxb to get it from our local provider)
Every morning I download the latest epgxml and import it into sage.
tvxb only creates the xml for "today" onwards, so all the previousl show information is lost.

Some shows that were recently recorded in sage then take the title "no schedule" and I lose all show info. So I end up with about 4 shows all bunched together with "no schedule" title, and the weird part is that before an epg update, the show is listed in the recent recordings, and looks like a normally recorded show.

It doesnt matter if it is a favourite, manually recorded or IR.

How would an update to the epg affect the info in wiz.bin?
why would I lose this information?
Why is it only a couple of the latest recorded shows?
