DVD playback questiton

How do I get a DVD to play back to my TV. I'm running SageTV and using a Hauppauge PVR-350 card. I would like to play a dvd image back to my TV. I mount the dvd.img file using daemon tools and it plays on the monitor with windvd. From within SageTV, I go to the Media Center and select Play DVD and again, it will play on the monitor. So, is there a way to get it to play back on the TV using my Hauppauge PVR-350?

I know that this isn't really a Sage issue but sounds like to me something I have wrong with my Hauppauge card but I hope someone here can help. BTW, the shows that I record from cable, I can play back on the TV.

I don't have a 350 but if you are using the 350's hardware decoding for tv output, then I believe it is limited to playing back mpg files only. A search of the forum for "pvr350" or perhaps the hauppauge forum would give more detail.

Using the 350 for recording only and then using a quality video card (nvidia etc.) with TV output will allow you to play back DVD's to your TV.

SCART in Europe • Audio output: left and right audio connectors (RCA jacks)
