USB dual tv tuners

Guys I was thinking about getting a usb tv tuner because I've flat out run out of power connectors. When I got my powere supply and all the connectors, I thought I'd never use them all; boy was I wrong.

Anyway, do the usb tv tuner work as well as the internal ones? Hauppage only makes single usb tuners, is there another reliable brand name that make quality usb dual tv tuners that sage supports?

I have a few Hauppauge PVR-USB2 devices & they work quite well for me.

But, what do you mean that you don't have any more power connectors? What TV tuner do you have that needs to connect to the power supply? Maybe I haven't been keeping up, but the ones I've seen only plug into a PCI slot w/o any other internal connectors.

OH, my bad I didn't know that tv tuners didn't need power connectors to become energized; my 7800GT does and I just thought the same for the tv tuners

Your 7800GT draws a tad more power then a TV tuner. Internal tuners draw power from the slot it's in. An available slot should be fine.

FYI - even if you needed a power connector for it you could always get a splitter, then you'd just need to be sure your PSU could handle it.

I ordered 2 of those with the pvr-500; my floppy needs one. PSU issues, I dought it: Antec 500W True Power

Now that I'll have a true tv tuner, maybe I can get sage up and running. I've tried with my 7800GT with no success.
