Sage Recorder starts recording in preview mode
When I click on preview mode, recorder starts recording (without clicking the Record button) whatever channel is on and auto-saves the file to the hard drive. Does anyone know why this happens??

That's the way it is designed. Sage TV and Sage Recorder records to the hard drive. As long as you're watching video, it is recording. There are advantages to doing it this way rahter than a buffer as some other products use.
