MediaMVP out of stock everywhere?
Ok I finally sit down and get ready to order the MediaMVP from SageTV so I wouldn't have to pay extra for the client - Out of Stock. Ok after some debating I decided that I'd just buy it somewhere else and pay for the Client. Buy.com, Pcalchemy.com, Mwave.com, Computerhq.com - basically out of stock at every reputable online store around!!

Starting to wonder if this supply shortage has to do with a new MVP model or something. Very strange that they are all sold out. Leaves ebay as my only option.

You might be able to find a MediaMVP at a Radio Shack store. They had them on closeeout in Sep 2005 but my local Radio Shack still has one on the shelf for $39.99. Call a local store to see if they have one and to check the district as well.

Yeah, i've basically searched every Radio Shack in a 50mi radius!

There's one in the Guilford, CT Radio Shack...maybe they'll ship it

I actually just found a RS that had 2 in PA and I'm told the manager is holding them for someone so he can't sell them!

you lucky guys... radio shack in canada doesn't even carry them.

Hey, I feel like I earned them! I had to call about 20 different Radio Shacks. I called then in NY, NJ, PA, CT and even FL! I actually had each one checking the stock at other RSs in their areas. I was just about to buy ONE on ebay last night for $75 - glad I didn't do that!

Try CDW Canada if you want an MVP. That's where I got mine. Alternatively Staples can special order one for you but their price is not competitive.

yeah I know it's available, but 39.99 us is a much more attractive price... that's all I was harping about.
