LIRC
Lirc has built in support for usb_mce ( old & new ) and iMon usb receivers in the Divine 4/5's , is there a way for STV to use LIRC?
I've tried to emerge lirc, but I get errors about the kernel config missing. Do I need to genkernel and compile a new kernel, & will STV still work after a new kernel install. I want to have the following: be able to automount NFS share Have Lirc for my remote Recompile a 2.6.15 kernel for support for my ATI HDTV Tuner Thanks all

I think it's taylored to work only with the specified hardware that it lists (basically PVR-150, etc...) so unless you can somehow hijack it to make it work with some other form of hardware (like the ATI HDTV) then I don't think you can get it to go.

if you add
LIRC_DEVICES="change to driver name for a list goto lirc.org" to your /etc/make.conf file and emerge lirc you can get many recievers working. Because of the script Sage uses the only blaster that can be used is off the hauppauge card. rob |
