Feature Request: T9 Input

Smart T9 input ability.

It is only a matter of time, but it sure would be nice to have T9 input capability sooner than later.

I doubt we'll see it. T9 is a copyrighted input format (Website). I doubt it would be cheap to license it, but if so, it may be nice to have...

I have thought about it, but decided that it would also be difficult to implement, as the t9 'dictionary' would have to be dynamically build up from the content you are searching (and not using a fixed dictionary) -- ie the dictionary used for a search by person would be different from a search by title in order to correctly predict the word being typed.
