Favorites are not getting recorded on sagetv 2.2.8

I'm running sagetv 2.2.8 with java 1.5.0.
Some of my favorites don't record. It is always the same ones every week that don't get recorded. I've gone over the setting carefully (I believe) and think that it is not a setting error, but a software problem (sagetv or java i assume).
Is it time to upgrade to the newest sagetv software or is this maybe a problem with this version of java?

This happened to me with RobotChicken. I thought they had just stopped making them but someone mentioned in passing if I had seen the one from the other night. When I looked into it, my favorite was correct but displayed no future airings.
I set up the favorite again using the 'search by title' and after that it's been recording. The only thing I can figure is that the series number changed. Everything else is the same as far as I can tell.

I tried to delete the favorite and make it a favorite again, but it would still not record. I have to manual record a large portion of our shows at this time. It is very strange.
