Sage to control external box

Im a current user of BTV, and Im trying out the 15 day trial of SageTV,
to see if I can/should switch to SageTV...

I'm trying to figure out how to control a Dish Network 311 reciever via a USB-UIRT.
In my current setup (which isn't much), I use my keyboard/mouse to control BTV, and BTV controls the sat reciever via usb-uirt.

Im trying to duplicate this setup with SageTV.
For some reason, I'm unable to figure out how to set this up during the install
process, or afterwards in the post setup menus.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time...

Check out the Source Setup info in chapter 5 of the SageTV PDF manual. The selections will lead to step 5 on p. 147 for v4.1, where you would set up USB-UIRT control of your converter box.

Thanks for your replies.
Well I tried what you suggested, but its still not controlling the sat box.
The usb-uirt flashes when trying to change channels, but either the sat box,
doesn't respond or changes to the wrong channel.
The way I have the usb-uirt in relation to the sat box hasn't changed when I was using BTV. But to give the benifit of the doubt, I placed the usb-uirt face to face with the sat box's ir window. Still no go.
Im attaching the ir file that was created by sage.

Anyone with the a Dish Network box & usb-uirt setup working???

Thanks for your time.
