This Forum - Multiple Quotes - How To Do It

This is a Forum Question..

I figured General Discussion is the place to post this. I know that when I answer a question on the forum I can click the quote button. But, what I don't understand is when someone asks say 4 questions in one post and I want to put question 1 in one quote followed by my answer then question 2 followed by my answer etc...how do I do that?

Thanks,
Mike

I do it manually. I use the quote button first then split it up into sections and copy/paste the quote tags for each section.

OK: just use the quote tag around quoted text, then close off the quote with one that has a \ in front of the word 'quote', such as:

[quote]This would be a quote.[/quote]:
Quote:
This would be a quote.
[quote=Somebody]This would be Somebody's quote.[/quote]:

You can get more details on the various tags here.

Thanks - I was thinking maybe I had to use the initial quote tag - somebody every time and I could not just use QUOTE.

Thanks again,
Mike
