No sound on DVB-T recordings using Webserver 2.6 and VLC

Hi all,

I've installed the latest webserver and it's impressive!! I can access via my local network or via the internet without issue to browse pages and stream music. However I have oe problem I hope someone can help with. I've installed VLC on my local machine to view programme recordings across my LAN, and although I have a great picture with VLC there is no sound. If I use VLC to watch imported videos or listen to streamed music it is fine, it's only SageTV recordings I get no sound with. The same recordings played on SageTV have sound. Can anyone shed any light ?

My tuner is a DVB-T, not analogue. Previous TV recordings from my analogue card that I have since imported have sound.

Thanks in advance.
