Are Upgrades Hard?

I have version 4.xx of Sage and I was thinking about upgrading it to the latest version. I dont have a lot of custom setttings, but it would take me about an hour I guess to add favorites, channel logos, channel setup, color calibration, etc if I lost everthing. I just wanted to know how hard is it to upgrade Sage nowadays?

See: How to install a new version of SageTV.

You shouldn't lose anything during an upgrade & that process explains how to make sure you have your old data if there is a problem from the upgrade.
