ReRuns not being recorded

I have noticed that not all ReRuns are being recorded.

I have checked to make certain in Favorites that I have selected "First Run and ReRuns". Which I have.

I noticed that in the program guide the favorite has a white border around the program entry and that the program name is italicised.

Is there another setting somewhere that will insure that all ReRuns are recorded?

Or is it a bug?

It has been watched already, so it won't be recorded again.

BTW: this FAQ and p. 56 of the v4.1 PDF manual show reasons why a Favorite might not be recorded.

Nothing automatic; you would have to do it manually. You could either make sure to clear the Watched setting before deleting it, delete it as a recording error, or use the Advanced Options on the Favorite Details screen to reset the watched flag for all shows covered by that fav (p. 70 in the v4.1 manual).

It would be handy to be able to set whether or not to mark a show as watched on a show-by-show basis. I know that some shows that I would like to not have to go in and clear the watched stuff, just always record every occurrence.

First Runs would take priority for recording and Retention (until watched)
Unwatched reruns would be second priority
A watched show that is not currently recorded may be rerecorded to replace a recently watched recording.

To do this best, there might need to be a "watched on" date that could be used to give priority to the watched show that has been the longest since watching.
