MVP not getting IP address again after upgrade

I'm running into a familiar problem after upgrading to 4.1.11 with my MVP. My MVP is not getting an IP address from my router again. Before this I was running 4.1.6 and my MVP was running fine. I upgraded for the VOB transcoding support and the placeshifter enhancements. I've uploaded my ethereal capture and debug log to the link below:

http://beta.yousendit.com/transfer.p...57371411CC5204

The ethereal capture shows the DHCP DISCOVER and OFFER messages going out to the MVP but no response comes back frm the MVP after the OFFER message is sent. Placeshiftting DOES work so i know it isn't a licence issue. My specs are in my sig and here are the other important pieces of info:

router: D-Link DGL-4300 software version 1.6
MVP: rev D3A boot loader version 1.0

Bug submitted.

Try rebooting your router. It may have run out of DHCP IPs to give out. I've seen that happen when the MVP is stuck in the boot cycle waiting for the server to come up, and it keeps getting IPs from the DHCP server (which for some reason is giving it a new one each time in some situations).

I only have about 6 NEs on the network up at a time and I have setup my router to statically assign specific IP addresses based on MAC addresses. My router will always send the same IP out to the MVP. My ethreal capture shows that the initial BOOTP/TFTP loading of the mvp.bin works. It's after the loading when the "Starting Application" screen comes up is where it fails. It just sits at that screen and never progresses to the SageTV interface. This is exactly the same problem I had with 4.1.3 before _Demo_ fixed the issue in 4.1.5.

I forgot to add back the trick for DGL routers. I will be building an updated mvp.bin soon with some other fixes.

Cool, that's what i figured. Once I get the new MVP.bin SageTV will be able to do everything I want it to do!
