Version 4.1.11 crashing after sleep in system tray

Hi,

I've noticed a repetative crash - when ever the sagetv is minimized to the tray bar and I try to open internet explorer (or a new window of the browser) sage simply crashes.

Any ideas ?

I've had Tray Icon related crashes for a long time. I had one in .11 last night. Are you using FSE? I don't use that option a lot, so it doesn't bother me too much. With the Shut Down Sage plug-in, I just exit Sage.

I think this something totally different. Just started with .11 for me and is so repetitive that I have had to roll back to .10. I believe a bug report has been submitted

Submit your bug just to be sure...it may be different in your case.

well, just crashed again... now it happened when I tried to flip channel in my client.

There's a bug related to having SageTV in the system tray. I'd keep it out of the system tray if you're using 4.1.11. A fix is in the works as you'd imagine.

I have the same issue, but I never use the client on the server except to check on recordings and such if I happen to be near the server.

Does this affect the service and recording at all? If not then I can get by using the web browser instead as I don't watch anything on the server.

Yeap. Mine is crashing ever since the .11 upgrade or should I call it, downgrade?

I went back to .10 until the bug is fixed on a release.

The link above fixed it for me. Just drop it in the Sage Install folder and overwrite (shutdown first).

It's been fixed for me too.

Before that new dll file, it crashed twice and took the MyHD 130 player with it (Sage crashed while recording in the background and I was using the MyHD, then the MyHD player no longer responded to input -- had to ctrl-alt-del to get back to desktop and found the Sage error message). That has not happened since the fix.
