ATI All in Wonder not recognized anymore

I installed the latest version of Sage (4.11 beta), and now I can no longer record from the AIW card. I also have a Hauppage PVR 150 card, so I did not seen this imediatly.

I installed all the latest drivers for ATI (Catalyst 6.3 Windows XP driver and the ATI Multimedia Center 9.13). I can watch TV no problem, however Sage does not recognize the WDM driver at all.

Anybody else encountered this problem?

Thanks

Check your sage.properties file to see if it is listed on the mmc/ignore_encoders line. If so, close SageTV completely (or the service), then remove that line & restart.

I think SageTV is trying to handle not having some devices added to that list, so if this is the problem, be sure to submit a bug report in case they want to handle that device differently regarding the ignore line.

Found the problem

Hi Andy,
Thank you for the quick response. I removed the line as you sugested. SageTV now recognized the card but it does no record.
Researched this in on the net, and the problem is in the ATI driver version 6.3. It seems that ATI is using a new unified driver arhitecture, which a lot of people have problems. The only solution is to go back to an earlier version, it seems 6.2 is OK. This is what I did, and now SageTV is recording fine.
This information could be usefull for anybody who is using an All In Wonder card.

Thanks Again
