Show Original Air Date in Program Guide?

I think someone said this would be fixed/added on a new release.

With version 4.1.12, has this been added/fixed? I am talking about the original Air Date of the movie showing up on top of the Program Guide while one is browsing for movies.

It is fixed in .12, actually I think it was fixed as far back as .10. Movies do not have an original air date. They have a release date that date is now shown in the upper window after the movie title when a movie is highlighted in the program guide. For the movie Blown Away I currently see:
Blown Away (1994), Fir 4/7 6:30 PM - 9:00PM

Are you using the current STV file?
How are you searching for movies?

Ok. I will try .12 release to see if it's there now. I have versoin .10 and it's not there.

When I go into Program Guide screen, the upper screen shows information about the show currently highlighted. For example, in the Program Guide, I have "Yellow Sky" highlighted. On the upper screen, I see "Yellow Sky, Sat 4/8 8:00AM-10 am and a description of the movie. *NO WHERE* does it show the original release date of the movie.

I can only get the Original Release date of the movie if I selected it and then get additional information about "Yellow Sky". When I do that, then I see another screen with more information such as "Movie / Western - 1948" - That is what I am looking for without having to jump around.

So I will try .12 and will report back.

Also, you lost me with what STV file I am using? I have Neilms plugins, is that interfering?

Ok. Know I know why ask you asked what STV file I was using.

I upgraded to .12 and before I selected the STV file which has Neilms stuff, I looked at the Program Guide for same movie and now I see "Yellow Sky (1948), Sat 4/8 8:00 am - 10:00 am" which is what I was looking for all along.

When I select "SageTV3-4.xml" which has all of my custimizations and Neilms plugins, then the Original Release date is NOT shown as before.

So what is causing / Filtering the "(1948)" from not showing in the Program Guide?

Because you're using an older SageTV3 that doesn't have that. If you want to keep up with all the latest fixes you would need to load your plugins in the latest SageTV3 that comes with the latest beta. THEN load all of the plugins you want to use in THAT one. There is a plugin that will let you configure to load in as many plugins as you want to make this easier. But you have to import them in everytime you load a new beta/version.

Hey this is good, but can we have this for all shows at some point? As I am browsing through all of my Saged recordings of "Are You Being Served" for instance, Id really like to be able to see when each episode aired without going into the extended info first.

Keep up the good work.

Yeah, me too. I would like to see it for all shows that have the original date available to display while browsing.
