HD Time Shifting in 4.1.12 a little quirky?

I have watchd a couple of HD shows where I noticed that some times the when I fast forward through commercial, watch and fast forward again the fast forward picks up from where it left off, not where I was watching. I am trying to replicate to consistently to file a bug report, but wondering if anyone has seen the same.
