Hi, I tried to break up the game into 3 smaller files last night, but no luck. Each were 90mins, at 2.4 GB/hr, so under the file size that you note. I also just viewed a 1/2 hour show of scrubs, and for the first time on a non-hockey game had some funky action on the FF. I will email betatest and see how it goes. Thanks for posting.

It happens to smaller shows too. I've got a 30 minute show whose timeline is corrupt.
I performed a little test last night. I moved the 'bad' show, length 30:55 using Media Player Classic, out of my recordings directory and into my import directory. When I opened the show with Sage from the Imported Videos section, the timeline only showed a length of 5:44. Wade |

I'm going to knock on wood before and after this post.
I have two 150's in my setup, and somewhere among the Hauppauge driver updates, my audio mysteriously disappeared but only the audio associated with the tuners. It's a problem with the drivers and I finally rolled back to an older driver to fix the issue. Hauppauge is aware of the issue and have released a couple of beta drivers since then to address the issue. With driver release 24054 and 24073, the audio returned but I was having issues with the broken timeline in the recordings while using FF/REW. They've released another updated 150/500 pre-release driver that so far has worked wonders for me. The Hauppauge UK forums led me to this driver. I haven't had any timeline issues since installing these new drivers. Granted, it's only been about a week, but so far all of my recordings have worked. I've watched a show while 2 have been recording while FF/REW and nothing has gone awry..... so far! I did make one other change after installing the new driver, I dropped the recording quality from 3.2/hr to 3.0/hr, but am reluctant to switch back for fear that it's the quality setting that is the issue and not the Hauppauge driver update. Anyways, hopefully this will be of some value to someone. Wade *knock*knock*knock* on wood! BTW, are the people that are having problems all using multiple 150s or 500s? It seems so from the few that have it in their sig or have mentioned it. Last edited by Wade; 05-04-2006 at 06:46 PM. |
