SageTV Service

Hi I have sage TV Verson 4 installed on my computer and it works great when i dont have the service enabled, but when i enable the service my computer no longer boots and i have to boot in to safe mode and disable it. Any suggestions??

Start -> Run -> Services.msc

Leave the startup type for SageTV as Manual. Click the start button to try and start the service. Only if SageTV starts successfully in service mode should you switch startup type to Automatic.

To find out why the service is failing to start, shut down Sage and enable debug logging in your Sage.properties file:

debug_logging=TRUE

Then try to start the service. After it fails, look at sagetv_0.txt for clues. Also check your System event log (under Administrative Tools > Event Viewer).
