PlaceShifter Functionality
It's been while since I have been here and just noticed the new version and the "PlaceShifter".
Has anyone had any experience with PlaceShifter yet? Please share your thoughts and comment on its usability.

I just tested it out this week and I have to say I was very impressed. I was using a 9,900kbps/256kbps connection on both ends and used both the desktop and laptop. The laptop has a wireless card and the quality was still pretty good. It's like you are sitting infront of the tv yourself not much of a lag at all. In the first instance when you connect the picture may look blurry but as it streams the quality improves. Give it a go you wont be disappointed.

within 1hr of playing with it last week i bought a license for it. I have tested it at work and on wireless at work and i have to say they DID their home work. Being a programmer, i have to say the programmers at sagetv really did their homework. It is worth the $29 if you ask me.
