Problem with dupes in imports

I have a system that recently developed the curious problem of double listing all of the media files from my import directories; mp3s, mpegs, DVDs, et. al. The odd thing is that if I remove the directories from the Library Import spec the items appear only once, but still do not go away, as one would expect.

Is there a way to completely reconstruct the Library import file list without a re-install of Sage?

Though there have been no responses to my initial post I should also add that these import directories are not updating; the list remains as it was back in mid-April when the problem first started.

although I'm not sure if it solves your "not updating" problem.

Yes. It worked on both problems.
