Sage Hard Drive scanning question
I recently purchased a Maxtor 1TB external hard drive enclosure and placed the spin down to 5 minutes of idle in Maxtor's Power management feature, but the lights on the front of the enclosure seem to indicate that it is running. I setup the drive as an Import Folder. How often does Sage scan the hard drives for changes and could this be keeping the drive active and stopping power management from spinning it down? I just paid over 800.00 for this and want it to last a while...

You could just disable auto scanning in the properties file (and then manually refresh whenever you need to)...but maybe that's not an option?
I disabled auto scanning because I don't need it (manual is fine with me); just another potential task which could affect playback/responsiveness.
