5.0.2 favorites and past shows - problems

I have 2 problems with sage 5.0.2 and I wanted to know if any 1 is experiencing them like me:

1. some favorites will not record from padding, they will start at the correct time, but will add the time from the "pad" before, to the pad "after", that is a problem for me.

2. past shows that were recorded (with sage other than 5.0.2) are now shown as still there but....
The time line begins at 12:06:31 (red up until 90% of the bar) and then between that time and the end u can see the whole show (55 mins for example, so it ends at 13:05:27).

I do not know what to do here, please help.

I did not install from scratch, I had all the versions from 4 and up, could tht be the problem????

Is there any thing to do? and logs that some 1 wants to see, please HELP!

Are you sure it's not recording the beginning padding? When playback starts it will start at the scheduled time. In order to see the beginning padding you need to rewind past 0:00 to like -2:00 or something.

I don't have the problem you mentioned, but I noticed some strange things with my padding tonight on back to back favorites.

For one it scheduled NCIS and House as back to back favorites on the same tuner and removed the padding for them. NCIS is on CBS and House on ABC. The padding is only supposed to be removed for favorites on the same channel.

Then there was 2 episodes of the Unit both of which air on CBS. Sage did not schedule them on the same channel as back to back favorites, which cause a recording conflict that prevented another show from being recorded.

I checked my Wednesday night schedule and it appears the back to back favorites setting is working correctly for tomorrow.
