Guide Problem

When I go to the guide and say it starts displaying channel 2 and I type 501 it does not go to the guide at 501 but it scrolls to channel 5 then tries to scroll to each number I press. It was not doing this before and I don't know what happened.

Please help fast.

Sounds like an "Enter" / "Select" is being issued right after the first digit rather than the usual 3 digits. Is this from a remote control?

The IR remote control files contain a place in the header for maximum number of digits for the STB / tuner; the usual value being three of four. Check the stub file also.

But that would not explain how this happened.

As it turned out this happened after I installed a new encoder card in my server (the nvidia dual tv card in place of the Hauppauge wintv 500). I had to restart Sage Client.
