Disable a tuner source IF other source used

I'm wondering if this is possible. I'd like to use both firewire and S-Video outputs from only one (1) STB. The problem of course is that sage treats each input as a seperate tuner and changes the channel even if the other is already recording. I do not want to pay another monthly STB fee!

Is there a way to tell sage "If: tuner x is in use / Then: tuner y is unavailable"
