mvp not booting

greetings i just purchased softeware with mvp client liscence and i have no firewall running to make sure it connects. I dont understand but it does not connect at all i did download mvp client and ran that on another computer runs fine dunno what is wrong but mvp stays stuck on "loading application"

When you configured your SageTV software, did you enable the Media Extender and Placeshifter server? (Setup->Detailed Setup->Advanced).

What does your network look like? By that I mean how is your Sage Computer and MVP connected.

it is connected to a netgear router wgr614 v5 wireless and wired router sage pc is connected to a wireless nic had this setup running gbpvr no problems i can run client from my upstairs computer that is hardwired with no problems can also run regular hauppage software with no problems( gbpvr adn wintv adn mvp sofware are uninstalled)

just downloaded demo of placeshifter works great also getting very dissappointed in this system

Check that Windows didn’t turn on its own firewall. Sometimes it does that automatically if you turn of your own.

Try restart the router. Sometimes that helps.

Try the V5.0.3 RC posted in the forums. We updated the DHCP code on the MVP in it and I think that may be what is causing your problem.
