Moving linux sage server

What is required to transfer the linux sage software from one box to another?

I am experimenting with a temporary setup to get sage working, once I refine the process I plan to move the setup to my primary server.

What will I need to do to transfer the key over to the new machine?

Is it possible to simply move the directory over? Or is the key tied to a particular MAC address?
