Don't see the Placeshifter options under setup

I'm running SageTV 5.0.2.90 but don't see any of the Placeshifter options under the Advanced Setup tab.

I've got the Server toggle though...

Is the Server option enabled?

Make sure you are using the default STV (SageTV3.xml) that comes with SageTV, instead of some older or customized STV.

Yep,

I've enabled SageTV Server and I'm using SageTV3.

Make sure the STV file is .xml, not .stv.

And, the placeshifter options don't show up until you enable the Media Extender and Placeshifter Server.

In the UI I can only see the .STV file.
If I use file explorer I know they're both there.

Is there a setting to change to see the .xml file?

thanks

edit: Just did a forum search... I deleted (moved actually) the .STV file and restarted the UI. I seem to be good to go.
Thanks for your help.

Exit Sage, open your Sage.properties (or SageClient.properties if you are using service mode) and change the line

Code:
STV=[...]\\SageTV\\STVs\\SageTV3\\SageTV3.stv
to

Code:
STV=[...]\\SageTV\\STVs\\SageTV3\\SageTV3.xml

and restart Sage. The explanation for this weird behavior is that once you have loaded an older STV with extendsion .stv, Sage only allows to select other .stv files ...

Thanks for the info. I had already checked my .properties file and strangley enough it already said .XML.

See my 'edit' above I'm cooking now.
