CPU Utilization Spikes
Not sure when it started but I believe it was around the time that I upgraded to SageTV version 5.0.2 that I started having CPU spikes on the box. Causing the UI/video to pause and then race to catch up.

Anyone else seeing this?

I tried downgrading from Java 1.5 to Java 1.4.2-06 but no difference.

I also noticed this in the version 5 update where it would constantly use between 60-95% cpu services in the VMR mode and anywhere from 30-40% in the Default mode but only 10% in the overlay mode.
