Linux QAM Support?

I know that MythTV and the other Linux PVR products support QAM on the Dvico and Avermedia HD cards, as they are not hindered by the lack of BDA drivers.

Does Sage for Linux support QAM?

If so, is it possible for Sage Linux to act as a network encoder to feed QAM to my main, XP Sage box?

Tia,

Austin

Qam was working at some point (I added the avermedia with qam support in linux) but I don't think it does currently.

Anyone have an ETA for this feature? It seems pretty major.
