After finally getting my Sage Server and Clients to play Nero MP4's, I just got a new media extender today and it will not play them.

So rather than fight this fight again, I'm going to switch over to Divx.

What do you guys recommend as a good product for this?

Also does anyone know of a product that can convert my MP4's to Divx?

I take it that if MP4 isn't supported by the extenders than H.264 encoded videos are out of luck as well. *EDIT* I just realized that Nero uses H.264 to create it's MP4's

As far as converting MP4 to divx you may want to check out
http://www.doom9.org they have all sorts of tutorials and downloads on apps for video conversions.

If you are using a Mac try using ffmpegX
